Complete with the voices of Michael J. Fox, Charleton Heston ,and Sally Field to provide the Look Who’s Talking-esque voices of the two dogs and feisty cat, it’s a charming family romp. Now filmmaking duo Andres and Diego Meza Valdes have used the wonderful resource that is Kickstarter to make Play Dead, a short film that they describe as the unauthorized sequel to Homeward Bound, with pack of dogs trying to survive a zombie apocalypse in the streets of Miami.read more

First Trailer for Ben Wheatley's Horror Comedy 'Sightseers'

Are you ready for more wacky horror from the mind of the man behind Kill List? The next film directed by director Ben Wheatley is called Sightseers, a dark “horror” comedy about two young lovers, played by Alice Lowe and Steve Oram (who also wrote the film), who take a caravanning holiday around the British Isles. Sounds delightful, doesn’t it? Such is the case with Andrei Chikatilo. While the name may not jump out at you, believe us when we say he was one of the most evil and thoroughly crazy men to walk the earth.

According to Deadline, Summit/Lionsgate is moving fast on Child 44 and is in early talks with Safe House director Daniel Espinosa to helm an adaptation of the Tom Rob Smith novel that has been adapted by Richard Price.

The story follows Leo Demidov, a disgraced lawman in Joseph Stalin’s Soviet Union, who is assigned to investigate a series of gruesome child murders. The book is based on the Rostov Ripper, the Ukrainian serial killer Andrei Chikatilo, who was executed for 52 murders and was enabled by the institutional denial that existed in Soviet political culture at the time.

Though the film has not yet been greenlit, production is supposed to commence early next year.read more

Two New Faces Heading to The CW's Cult

Some casting news has come in for The CW’s midseason replacement series “Cult”, and thanks to the magic of Twitter and the internet, we have all the details you need right here.
